PARISH OF DRONFIELD HIGH STREET SK 37 NE 6/40A The Blue Stoops Inn 9.1.67 GV II Public House. 1596 with C18, C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed rubble stone with ashlar dressings and Welsh slate roofs. 2 red brick ridge stacks. Lobby entry plan. 2 storey, street front, 4 bays, with off-centre doorway with C20 door in flush ashlar surround, with to the left a single, and to the right 2 glazing bar sashes. Above 3 glazing bar sashes, all in flush ashlar surrounds. Interior has some large scale chamfered beams.
