Description
Wesleyan Chapel. Dated 1837. Regularly coursed gritstone with projecting quoins, plain eaves, Welsh slated roof. Single storey, two bays, with tall Venetian windows with cast iron frames and Gothic glazing, flanking central doorway with massive stone jambs and semi-circular head with keyblock. Plain planked door. Plain gatepiers with pyramidal caps and spear headed iron gate and matching railings on rubble limestone boundary wall with chamfered copings. Plaque over doorway inscribed 'Primitive Methodists MDCCCXXXVII'.
