Description

Icehouse. Probably early C19. Built for the Thornhill family of Stanton Hall. Stone. Coursed square gritstone facade with short tunnel, now collapsed to top, into the hill, at the end of which is a large square underground chamber with barrel vault. Listing NGR: SK2382363699
