Description

Probably a former outbuilding to The Cottage (qv); now a shop. C18, altered. Coursed and rubble limestone; stone slate roof. EXTERIOR: one storey, 2-window range. Doorway to left has C20 door beneath dressed lintel. 16-pane casement on left with stone sill and lintel; another casement with glazing bars to far right. Rear: stable door with boarded hatch over, flanked by various casements. Small stone-slated lean-to on right. Blocked doorway to far left. 3 stone corbels at eaves. INTERIOR: not inspected. Forms a group of Vernacular buildings with The Cottage (qv). Listing NGR: SK2171868611
