'SK 17 SW PARISH OF TADDINGTON MILLERS DALE 2/81 (South Side) Row of four Lime Kilns GV II
Lime kilns. 1878, altered 1923. Rubble limestone, about thirty feet tall and with a pronounced batter. Four round-arched openings to north. Buttresses added in 1923. Large commercial lime kilns, close to the railway, opened by the Millers Dale Lime Company in 1878 and closed in 1930.
