Description

'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 27 October 2022 to correct a typo in the description and to reformat the text to current standards SK 18 54 10/79 PARISH OF PARWICH KILN LANE (South Side) Knob Hall 13.9.84 GV II House. Mid-C17, restored 1925. Coursed rubble limestone with sandstone dressings. Plain and fishscale tiled roofs and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers and ball finials. Two central brick stacks. Two storeys. Flush quoins. Double pile plan. West elevation - three bays, central doorway with chamfered surround and massive lintel with dripstone. C20 part glazed door, flanked on each side by two-light recessed chamfer mullion windows with dripmoulds. Two similar windows above and a similar single light central window, all with dripmoulds. Twin gabled south elevation with two three-light recessed chamfer mullion windows to the ground, first and second floors, all with dripmoulds. Doorway on the north side dated 1925. Listing NGR: SK1890854602.'
