Knob Hall, Creamery Lane, Parwich, originally a mid-17th century building. 'Knob Hall (Old Hall), Parwich. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. The farmstead is formed of a loose courtyard with one side of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is set away from the yard. The site is located within or in association to a village. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings.' (1-4) From the National Heritage List for England: 'This list entry was subject to a Minor Amendment on 27 October 2022 to correct a typo in the description and to reformat the text to current standards SK 18 54 10/79 PARISH OF PARWICH KILN LANE (South Side) Knob Hall 13.9.84 GV II House. Mid-C17, restored 1925. Coursed rubble limestone with sandstone dressings. Plain and fishscale tiled roofs and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers and ball finials. Two central brick stacks. Two storeys. Flush quoins. Double pile plan. West elevation - three bays, central doorway with chamfered surround and massive lintel with dripstone. C20 part glazed door, flanked on each side by two-light recessed chamfer mullion windows with dripmoulds. Two similar windows above and a similar single light central window, all with dripmoulds. Twin gabled south elevation with two three-light recessed chamfer mullion windows to the ground, first and second floors, all with dripmoulds. Doorway on the north side dated 1925.
