SK 17 NW PARISH OF WHESTON 3/41 12.7.67 Village Cross II* Village cross. C15. Tapered stone shaft on square base with chamfered angles and standing on two steps. Elaborate head with cusped embellishments to cross, which depicts the Crucifixion on one face, the Virgin and Child on the other. Scheduled Ancient Monument. Repositioned, having been moved from a nearby site. Listing NGR: SK1319476438
