Description

SK 17 SE PARISH OF LITTLE LONGSTONE MAIN STREET 3/37 (North Side) Congregational Chapel II Chapel. c1870. Coursed Squared limestone with gritstone dressings. Welsh slate roof. Rock faced quoins and moulded kneelers, South elevation has protecting central bay acting as a porch and belfry. Deeply chamfered round arched doorway with rock faced quoins. Heavily recessed doors. Circular sounding hole above again with chamfer and rock faced quoins. Gabled ashlar bellcote. Either side is a narrow arrow slit window with circular head. West and east elevations have three round-arched windows with deep chamfer. Listing NGR: SK1875871638
