Description
Icehouse. Probably early C19 built for the Thornhill family of Stanton Hall. Coursed squared gritstone. Large grassed-over mould with stone facade to south with semi-circular headed door. Short barrel vaulted tunnel leading to domed chamber, now blocked off.
