Description
Church. c. 1865 (consecrated 7 October 1864). Coursed, rock-faced limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins. High, steeply pitched, slate roof, continuing in curve round apsidal east end, Stone coped gable to west with ridge bellcote. Single cell building with round east end, and south porch. West elevation - tall lancet windows either side of central stepped buttress. Above, trefoil window and bellcote. Three lancet windows to north and south walls. Three similar windows round apse. South porch to west, with moulded copings and cross to ridge. Trefoil windows to sides. Pointed, chamfered doorcase. Plank door. Interior very simple, lancet windows to sides and round apse. Plain wooden pews. Impressive scissor-truss roof with radiating timbers around east end.
