Description

Bridge, formerly railway bridge. c1830. Rock faced squared coursed limestone abutments. Fish-bellied, cast iron beams carrying wooden decking between. C20 metal railings above. Early example of cast iron for structural use. Listed for its historic interest, as part of the Cromford and High Peak Railway.
