Description

'BAKEWELL SK2168 BASLOW ROAD 831-1/4/12 (East side) 20/05/74 Bridge Cottage II House. Mid C18. Roughcast with ashlar sandstone dressings; side wing in coursed sandstone; stone slate roofs. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, 3-window range with single-storey, 2-window range side wing on left. Square-faced 2-light mullioned windows with 6 and 8-pane wooden casements. Main house: doorway to left of centre has door of 4 vertical panels pierced by lozenge-shaped lights; painted stone surround with wooden cornice on shaped brackets. Shaped kneelers and ashlar gable copings; rock-faced stone ridge stack to right of centre. Side wing in same style has coped end gable and central ridge stack. Right return: C19 ashlar canted bay window to ground floor has sashes with glazing bars. INTERIOR: not inspected. Listing NGR: SK2199968702.'
