PARISH OF TICKNALL MAIN STREET SK 32 SE 4/105 (South side) The Old Post Office GV II Post Office, now outbuilding. C18 and C19. Rubblestone and red brick. Plain tile roof with brick gable stacks. Single storey and attic. Gable end to the road has a doorway with segment head and C19 panelled door, and to the left a 2-light segment headed window. Small 2-light Yorkshire sash above, under a flat arch. The west elevation has, from left to right, a 2-light segment headed Yorkshire sash, a 3-light C20 window under flat arch, a segment headed doorway with plank door, and a 3-light Yorkshire sash. One gabled dormer above with Yorkshire sash. Listed for group value only.
