Ash Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Late C18 and early C19. Red brick with plain tile roofs and brick gable stacks. Dentil eaves cornice. Two storeys. L-plan with two almost detached ranges linked by a lower one-bay link. West elevation of two bays. Off-centre doorway with raised and fielded panelled door and C20 porch. To the right is a glazing bar sash under a wedge brick lintel. To the left a 3-light casement under a wedge brick lintel. Two similar windows above. To the left again is a single storey wing with segment headed doorway and 2-light casement. Three-bay south elevation to the left and gabled return wall of the west range, with a glazing bar sash to the ground floor and a 2-light casement to the attic. Link to the right has a doorway with half glazed door to the ground floor and a 2-light casement above. East range projects to the right and has a tripartite glazing bar sash to each floor, under a segmental brick arch.
