Description

'SK 18 SW PARISH OF EDALE BARBER BOOTH 6/44 (North Side) Methodist Chapel GV II Chapel. Dated 1811. Rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings and quoins. Stone slate roof, with one truncated stack. Moulded eaves corbels. Two storeys, two bays plus a single storey C19 bay to west. Doorway on the right with dressed stone surround and plank door. Datestone above inscribed WESLEYAN/METHODIST CHAPEL/ ERECTED/AD MDCCCXI. Two windows to the left with small panes and casement lights. Stone lintels and sills. Two similar, but smaller windows above. Simple interior fittings with gallery. Listing NGR: SK1131184810.'
