SHINE: Later Prehistoric barrow and field boundaries west of Hatton (DDR7622)

Description
A small circular cropmark feature appears in the south-west corner of the 'enclosure' and a linear feature follows a south-south-west route from the south-east corner. Another linear feature is horizontal to the other with a ring-ditch depicted to its immediate south.
Cropmarks were also identified in this area during an aerial photographic mapping survey, using aerial photographs dating to 1980. The cropmarks were interpreted as being later prehistoric field boundaries and a barrow.
Reviewed (2026), earthworks are no longer visible on either LiDAR or aerial photography.
