Full Description

Sitter Low, near Parwich listed [in appendix] as a barrow. (1). Sitterlow is named on Tithe map 1846, centred SK 193533. A comparatively low lying, hill slope area, it shows no evidence of a barrow or a likely barrow site. (2). There is no evidence on the Ordnance Survey 1st, 2nd or 3rd edition maps for this barrow. The possible location has been plotted near Sitter Low Farm but a more precise location is unknown. (3).
