Full Description

Several small platforms, possibly Roman house platforms and sherds of Romano British pottery found all along the top of Thorpe Cloud and on the paths leading to the summit by M Wildgoose. (1) Silver demarius of Servus Alexander 'RIC254 Speo publica', found on top of Thorpe Cloud at SK 151 509 which is now in private possession (name and address unknown). There is rumour of a temple on top of Thorpe Cloud. (2)
