Full Description

There is a Mission House and Infant School situated here on the 1st edition 6" OS map. (1) A Mission Room, with dwelling house, was built at Whaley in 1869, at a cost of £650, raised by subscription. (2) It is labelled as a Mission Church on the 2nd edition 25" OS map. (3) St Mary's Mission Room is situated at Whaley. (4) The building is still standing, but appears to have been converted in to two houses [2011]. (5)
