Full Description
St Peter's Church is a small church in the village of Holymoorside. It was built as a school in 1841 but has been extended and refurbished over the years. It was last altered in 1999. The burial ground was added in 1914. (1)
There is a Sunday School situated in Holymoorside on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880. (2)
The 3rd edition 25" Ordnance Survey map shows this building as in use as a Mission Church, with a Grave Yard to the rear. (3)
Modern maps show this building is still extant and in use as a Church dedicated to St Peter. (4)
