Full Description
According to Bulmer's Directory, there was a Mission Church, a corrugated iron structure, at Sheepbridge, opened in 1874. It cost £543, exclusive of the site, raised chiefly by the Aldam family of Whittington Grange. (1)
There is a Mission Church, dedicated to St. Simon and St. Jude situated in Sheepbridge on the 1st edition 25" Ordnance Survey map of c. 1880, presumably that referred to by Bulmer in 1895. (2)
Modern maps show this building is no longer extant, it has been replaced by a residence. (3)
