Full Description

The trackbed of the former Ripley to Langley Mill branch of the Midland Railway [SMR 24707] is marked by scrub woodland to the west of Loscoe Dam. (1) The former Midland Railway line of 1890 is still visible as an earthwork at this location [2014]. (2)
