Full Description

Two storey brick building with iron window frames, the top of the frames being segmental arches. The company provided heat, light and street lighting throughout the Heanor Urban District. In 1935 the Company sold out the Derby Gas Company and in 1940 the works ceased to produce gas. Most of the site is now a playground, small green and carpark. (1)
