Full Description
An ornate, almost cottage-style station, with imposing fourfold chimney and two gables. It is partially in operational use, and partly converted to a wine bar [2004]. The adjacent single storey gritstone former goods shed is in light industrial use. Hadfield is now the eastern terminus of the former MSLR line from Manchester, the trackbed towards Woodhead can be seen continuing beyond the station. (1)
