Full Description

Wrought iron gates, fountain and stone lions all sit within the old boundary fence of Morley Park. The rock around the fountain is tufa which was highly prized as a curiosity during the 18th and 19th centuries. The gates were brought here from Bridge House, Belper, when the Strutts sold the property. Remains of a small emparkment can also be seen nearby. (1)
