Monument record MDR15451 - Cultivation terraces, Tideswell Dale, Litton

Type and Period (2)

Protected Status/Designation

  • None recorded

Full Description

A broad bank and lynchet, probably medieval, running down the hillside with a cultivation strip. There is a level terrace at right angles to this cultivation strip. The lynchet at the downslope edge has been enhanced though whether this is through cultivation or through a continuation of track (see SMR 9444) is unclear. (1)
