Full Description
A possible clearance cairn was discovered following rhodedendron clearance work at Shining Cliff Wood. The feature is 5m in diameter by 5m high, with a possible kerb. It may represent an agricultural phase prior to the present landscape, perhaps echoed in the Haytop field name suggesting an enclosure. (1)
