Former canteen of Milford Dyehouse, Derby Road, Belper, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: '1. 5167 SK 3545 5/170 DERBY ROAD Milford Canteen at Milford Dyehouse II GV 2. Earlier C19. Plain building at upper entrance from Derby Road to Mill Yard. Coursed stone with chamfered corner to ground floor. Slate roof. Three windows to road facade one to east facade and 6 panelled door with raised and fielded panels and very large iron strap hinges. Adjoins end of Chevin Alley (qv). Listing NGR: SK3500945144' (1)
