Full Description

SK 1250 7715 : WHESTON, ENCLOSURE (AP MARK) Small square enclosure noted on an aerial photograph. It appears to have been cut through by a trackway which pre-dates the field walls. The track was not apparent on the ground in 1978. (1,2). The trackway ran north-east to south-west and the enclosure was positioned at the cross. On the ground today there is no sign of either feature. Of unknown date or purpose. (3).
