Full Description
Greenlands, Buxton Road, Bakewell, an early to mid-19th century building.
'Greenlands, Bakewell. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. The farmstead is of a linear plan with two sides of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is attached to the agricultural range. The site is in an isolated location. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings.' (1-4)

SK2168 BUXTON ROAD 831-1/4/53 (South side) Greenlands
GV II
House. Early-mid C19. Coursed and rubble limestone with ashlar sandstone dressings; concrete tile roof. Single cell with outbuilding on right and wing to rear. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, single-storey outbuilding. Plinth; large quoins. Flush 6-panel door in broad ashlar surround with dripmould. Window to right on each floor with projecting stone sills to 2/2 horizontally-sliding sashes in ashlar surrounds; dripmould to ground floor only. Ashlar end stack on right. Outbuilding has no openings to front. Left return of house: windows as front offset to right. INTERIOR: not inspected. Originally formed a matched pair with Bluebell Cottage, Buxton Road (qv).
