Hollinknoll, Long Lane, Chapel en le Frith, built in 1745. 'Hollinknoll, Chapel-en-le-Frith. Partially extant 18th century farmstead. The farmstead is formed of a loose courtyard with two sides of the yard formed of agricultural buildings and additional detached elements to the main plan. The farmhouse is located in a position that has not yet been ascertained. The site is in an isolated location. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings.' (1-4) From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 07 NE TOWN OF CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH LONG LANE 6/28 (North Side) 21.4.67 Hollinknoll (formerly listed GV as Hollinknowle) II House. 1745 and 1903. Coursed gritstone, with flush dressings and rusticated quoins. Stone slate roof. Stone gable end and ridge stacks. Stone copings, kneelers and scroll brackets to 1903 wing. Two storeys, double fronted facade with projecting later crosswing to west. South elevation - central round headed doorcase with projecting keystone. Recessed porch to inner door with re-used moulded architrave and carved lintel, dated 1593. Either side 3-light flush mullion windows. Similar windows above. Over door, datestone of I745 and small glazing bar sash. Western crosswing, dated 1903, has tripartite window with heavily moulded architrave, window divided by stone columns. Above,venetian window with similar architrave. Listing NGR: SK0605679504.' (5)
