Full Description

Evidence for a modern (?) rectangular platform has been identified south-west of Sitch Farm, in Starkholmes, during a high-resolution Lidar survey carried out in the winter of 2015/2016 by Bluesky. The survey was commissioned by Trent and Peak Archaeology on behalf of DerwentWISE Project. (1) It is likely this features represents the remains of a building platform, a site where a building once stood. (2)
