Full Description
Evidence for curvilinear terraces, south of Wakebridg has been identified during a high-resolution Lidar survey undertaken in the winter of 2015/2016 by Bluesky. The survey was commissioned by Trent and Peak Archaeology on behalf of DerwentWISE Project. (1)
These features are not evident of early maps or on aerial photographs. Their visibilty however is sharply defined. (2)
