Full Description

The foundations of the former site of a gas cylinder for the Sudbury gasworks were recorded during an historic building survey carried out in 2017. It is assumed that the cylinder was erected in 1874, at the same time as the main building, but it is known to have been demolished in the 1930s. (1)
