Full Description
Former site of southwest building at Street Crane Co., Sheffield Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith, a 19th century building.
The stone building was photographed and surveyed in 2017 in advance of the proposed demolition of the structure and its replacement with a new construction. 'The 19th century building appears to have formed part of a Foundry and Forge in the 19th century, although the function of the building has changed since then and the interior has been modified. There are only a small amount of fixtures which are related to its former use.' (1)
