Former coach house and stables east of The Rookery, Buxton Road, Ashford in the Water, an early 19th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 19 69 PARISH OF ASHFORD IN THE WATER BUXTON ROAD 11/12 (South Side) Coach House and stables 12.7.1967 east of The Rookery (formerly listed as The Barn at The Rookery) GV II Coach house and stables, now garage and stables. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings. Slate and stone slate roof. Stone gable end stack to west. Part single storey, part two storeys. Three bays. Large segmental headed arch with double plank doors to west. Above, centrally placed fixed small pane window in flush surround. Two flush hayloft openings to north. Included for group value only.
