Full Description

Former Training Centre, Low's Lane, Ilkeston, opened in 1947. This art deco style training centre was built in the style of its neighbour (the former Exhibition Building), and opened in 1947. A small number of photographs of the exterior of the building while in use are available, including a photo of the plaque commemorating the opening of the centre, e.g. (1) According to current Google imagery (Streetview), both buildings are abandoned and behind fencing.
