Range of Former Farm Buildings to Northeast and Southeast of Grove Farmhouse, Boundary Walls and Gatepiers at Former Farmhouse, Brimington, an 18th century complex. From the National Heritage List for England: 'CHESTERFIELD ROAD 1. 5169 (South East Side) Brimington Range of farm buildings to north-east and south-east of Grove Farmhouse, street boundary walls and gatepiers at Grove Farmhouse. SK 4073 10/201 II GV 2. Probably mainly C18. Large irregular 3 sided courtyard of brick and stone buildings. Large arch through north-eastern range. Generally pantiled roofs. Rusticated gatepiers at farmyard entrance, south drive to house has 3 square piers with pyramidal caps. Circa 7 ft high coped stone wall ramped down to entrances. Listing NGR: SK4036573422.' (1)
