Station Masters House, Rood Lane, Idridgehay and Alton, built c1867.
From the National Heritage List for England:
'PARISH OF IDRIDGEHAY AND ALTON ROOD LANE SK 24 NE 3/50 15.12.81 Station Master's House GV (Formerly listed as Idridgehay Station House) II House, formerly station master's house. c1867. Regularly coursed squared gritstone with plain gables, single ashlar intermediate ridge stack, plain gables and over- sailing Welsh slated roof. 'T' plan house, two storeys, with semi-circular headed ground floor windows, and flat chamfered lintels to first floor openings. West gable projects, with two ground floor windows and a single first floor light, all with glazing bar sashes. Doorway to angle of west gable and main range. Listed for group value only.
