Full Description

Ruin of Errwood Hall's coach house, Errwood Hall, Hartington Upper Quarter, possibly built in the 1830s. An historic fabric building survey was carried out in 2022 as the first part of phased works to assess the condition and survival of the remains: '…the coach house, historically, presented a two-storey pavilion type structure built to a square plan form with pyramidal roof, which abutted the north end of the service range. The elevations of the range have been reduced to ground level. From historic photography it can be seen the east elevation incorporated a large coach entrance. Most of this elevation is non-extant.'
