Full Description

Acres Hill Barn, Westthorpe Road, Killamarsh, a 17th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 47 NE 8/174 PARISH OF KILLAMARSH WESTHORPE ROAD Farm outbuilding to the south of Westhorpe Farmhouse GV II Farm outbuilding. C17 coursed rubble coal measures sandstone with quoins and a Welsh slated roof. North-east elevation. Single storey, three bays with C20 widening of central opening and triangular vents in the walling. Double purlin roof supported on queen strut roof trusses. Blocked doorway to rear wall.
