Full Description

Outbuilding to northeast of Highlow Hall, Highlow, a mid-18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 28 SW PARISH OF HIGHLOW 2/66 Farm Outbuilding to the north east of Highlow Hall GV II Farm outbuilding, formerly combined piggery and henhouse. Mid C18. Coursed rubble gritstone with quoins and stone slates. Low two storey building with henhouse above piggery, the former approached by a stone stairway at the south east end. To the south west, a walled enclosure incorporating two feeding troughs and a water trough, which passes under the stone steps. Stepped chamfered copings to enclosure wall. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK2191080117.' (1)
