Higham Dairy Farm mill, Bumpmill Lane, Shirland and Higham, originally a mid-18th century building. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 35 NE PARISH OF SHIRLAND & HIGHAM BUMPMILL LANE 4/35 (North Side) 6-3-84 Mill at Higham Dairy Farm (formerly listed as Higham Dairy Corn Mill) II Watermill. 1750 with C19 addition. Coursed square sandstone. Gritstone dressings and quoins, Plain tile roofs. Stone coped gables with plain kneelers. Two bays, two storeys plus attics. West elevation has flush quoined doorcase with plank door. To south, 2-light flush mullion window. Similar window over. To north, lower two storey C19 addition, with two doorcases to south elevation, that to west with large punched stone lintel. Inserted door above. West gable wall with two windows. South and north gable walls, each have two C18 2-light flush mullion windows, one over the other. Remains of machinery left to north side. Listing NGR: SK3870358394.' (1)
