Former hunting lodge of Brookfield Manor, Hathersage, built c1830. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 28 SW PARISH OF OUTSEATS 2/77 Former Gamekeepers Lodge at Brookfield Manor GV II Former Gamekeepers Lodge. c1830, Coursed rubble gritstone with plain eaves, end ridge stone stacks and a stone slated roof. Two storeys, two bays, with 2 and 3-light chamfer mullioned windows, those to the ground floor beneath a continuous stepped hoodmould, together with the central doorway which has a chamfered surround. Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK2322582991.' (1)
