Full Description

Coach House, off Main Street, Great Longstone, an early 19th century building. From the Nation al Heritage List for England: 'SK 17 SE PARISH OF GREAT LONGSTONE MAIN STREET 3/14 (North Side 12.7.67 Upper Stables at the Hall GV II Stable block. Early C19. Rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and quoins. Cement tile roof. Two storeys. South elevation has a central doorway with stone lintel and quoins. To the right, a cart entrance with almost round-arched head and to the left, a 2-light window with chamfered mullion. Similar, 2-light window above and a similar, but blocked, 2-light window over the cart entrance. Listing NGR: SK1980071934.' (1)
