Gate and gate piers at The Manor House, Main Street, Great Longstone, late 18th to mid-19th century structures. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 17 SE PARISH OF GREAT LONGSTONE MAIN STREET 3/27 (South Side) Gates and gate piers to the Manor House GV II Gates and gate piers. Late C18 and mid C19. Gritstone gate piers, square in plan and rusticated. Fluted frieze and moulded caps with ball finials. High Victorian wooden gates with three small lower panels, the surrounds chamfered with stops and similar surrounds to the larger open upper panels which have robust wrought iron work. Long metal hinges, Listed for group value only. Listing NGR: SK1985671846.' (1)
