Gate piers and gate, east of Holme Hall, Holme Lane, Bakewell, of 19th century date. From the National Heritage List for England: 'BAKEWELL SK2169 HOLME LANE 831-1/3/104 (North side (off)) Gate piers and attached gate at west end of main avenue approach to Holme Hall GV II Pair of gate piers and attached gate. Mid C19 piers, late C19 gate. Ashlar sandstone; painted wooden gate. Large square-section piers with cavetto-moulded plinths, plain shafts and boldly overhanging cornices surmounted by depressed ogee pedestals with large ball finials. Gate: vertical slats beneath 2 mid-rails linked by crossed and vertical bars; 3-leaf iron finials above. Stiles curl over onto the top rail. Listing NGR: SK2160769116.' (1)
