Railings and gate at Rutland House, Buxton Road, Bakewell, of early 19th century date. From the National Heritage List for England: 'BAKEWELL SK2168 BUXTON ROAD 831-1/4/65 (North East side) 20/05/74 Iron railings and gate at Rutland House GV II Railings with gate. Early C19. Iron railings and gate; ashlar plinth. Set across frontage of Rutland House (qv); central gate. Stout bars with bold spear finials linked by plain rails to square openwork standards with side panels of rings. Gateway in same style, the gate with mid-rails joined by rings. Listing NGR: SK2170468570.' (1)
