Outbuildings at Mount Pleasant Farm, Middleton and Smerrill, of 18th and 19th century date. From the National Heritage List for England: 'SK 16 SE PARISH OF MIDDLETON AND SMERRILL 1/38 Range of single and two storey outbuildings to the south west of Mount Pleasant Farmhouse GV II Range of three outbuildings. C18 and C19. North west end; coursed squared limestone with gritstone dressings and stone slates. Three ground floor doorways, single central first floor doorway and flanking square openings, all stone framed. Projecting stone stair to first floor doorway. Attached at south west end, a rubble limestone single storey cowhouse with three quoined door openings and Welsh slate roof. At south west end, detached and advanced, a single storey three bay cart shed, with square stone pillars supporting massive stone lintels. Slate roof. Listed for group value only.
